The Spring fishing has finally turned on with waters at 77 degrees… Bait is still a little scarce, with endless thorn-bellies… The mahi bite remains great for trolling or live baiting 120-180’… Grouper season is open to try the wrecks and ledges near 6 mile and 8 mile or the drop off at Push Button… the permit are here at some shallow wrecks where the cobia should be very soon… Inshore, the snook have turned on with the spring mullet run along with the resident juvie tarpon far back in the St. Lucie River where the water cleared up nicely.
