Description: Come learn how to throw a cast net and catch bait. We’ll also cover rigging and fishing techniques for catching big fish during the mullet run.
From the end of August into November, the common saltwater baitfish known as mullet leave the coasts of the Carolinas and Georgia to travel south along the east coast of Florida.
Lots of big fish species migrate with these mullet to have a food source during their travels, such as… Tarpon and big hungry Jacks.
